Welcome to my digital workshop.

My name is Luis. I'm a professional programmer who currently works for the banking industry. I live on a small island off the coast of Portugal, in the northern Atlantic.

I grew up around computers but never really felt the need to understand them. That only changed late in my career when I, like many others, understood that software is becoming terrible, mostly because we're not solving problems, but managing complexity instead of eliminating it.

This place is my escape, free from the constraints of daily corporate development work. No legacy code, no tech debt, no endless dependencies, no rules. Just attempting to build from scratch, exploring ideas, and hopefully rediscovering the joy of recreational programming.
